Term Dates 

Teachers in state schools are required to undertake five Inset days in addition to the 190 teaching days children are required to be in school. The days are determined by the school in order to meet the training needs of the staff.

The INSET Days for 2024 - 2025 are:

INSET DAY 5 – Monday 2nd June 2025

The INSET Days for 2025 - 2026 are:

INSET DAY 1 – Wednesday 3rd September 2025

INSET DAY 2 – Wednesday 19th November 2025

INSET DAY 3 – Wednesday 4th February 2026

INSET DAY 4 – Monday 1st June 2026

INSET DAY 5 – Wednesday 22nd July 2026
